Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide.^[1] It is a portmanteau of the Australian-English diminutive word for moustache, "mo" and November. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com.^[4] The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health.

National Native American Heritage Month is celebrated in November to honor the culture, traditions, and achievements of Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and affiliated Island communities. It also recognizes the veterans who have served to defend the nation. Native American Heritage Day is November 29. “Native American Heritage Day Act of 2009”, which designates the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving Day of each year as “Native American Heritage Day.”
