Let's kick off the new year with a clean up along the marsh at Brittlebank Park! These clean up efforts will help prevent debris and microplastics from entering our waterways and ocean.
I will provide trash bags, reusable gloves, and grabbers. You will find me in the southern part of the parking lot wearing a black Sierra Club baseball cap. Bring: Water, sun protection, and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. Cancellation Policy: Heavy rain cancels
Sierra Club South Carolina: The fight to protect South Carolina's beautiful waterways, forests, uninhabited lands, and wildlife is more crucial than ever before. We are living in a defining moment, both for our nation and our illustrious organization. With so much at stake, the urgency to protect our planet from the most devastating impacts of climate change while advancing environmental justice is a priority that we will continue to aggressively act on, with our 2030 vision at the forefront of our work
