Alzheimer's Family Support Services
VISION
To create a self-sustaining program to meet the growing need for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) support until a cure is found.
MISSION
To provide hope and relief to families living with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD).
Our vision and mission are accomplished through social respite, caregiver support and consultation, community education, and mentoring underserved communities through the Neighborhood Outreach Alzheimer's Help (NOAH) Project, in Dorchester, Charleston, Berkeley, Orangeburg and Colleton counties.

CASC helps seniors through a variety of services. Most CASC programs and services target low income seniors and are offered at no charge, primarily serving those who cannot pay.

Friends of Joseph Floyd Manor Support programs that assist the elderly and disabled living in low-cost or subsidized housing.

Lowcountry Area on Aging (AAA) works under the guidance of the SC Department on Aging to provide assistance and services to eligible seniors. The Lowcountry AAA identifies and prepares a plan to meet the needs of the senior population.

Meals on Wheels Charleston is a network of community-based, non-profit programs dedicated to providing seniors in their communities with the support that enables them to remain living in their own homes, where they want to be. This support is typically a nutritious meal, a friendly visit and a quick safety check.

East Cooper Meals on Wheels delivers over 400 meals daily to those facing challenges with preparing a healthy meal.

In 1982, Meals on Wheels of Summerville conceptualized their mission to deliver homebound residents a nutritious, lunchtime meal while providing well-checks and personal interaction.

The mission of Jewish Family Services of Greater Charleston (JFS) is to empower individuals, strengthen families, protect the vulnerable, and help seniors age with dignity.
We offer holistic services and resources for clients, including: the Senior Outreach Initiative, Food Assistance, Refugee Resettlement, Financial Resources, and Jewish Community Chaplain.
Our work is based on Jewish values to improve quality of life regardless of race, religion, ethnic background, sexual orientation, or gender identity. JFS is guided by the fundamental Jewish values of tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repair of the world).
