Rain Garden Community Build

Mount Pleasant Waterworks is partnering with the Sustainability Institute to install a rain garden at a future community pocket park at our water treatment plant in the Old Village. We need volunteers to join us and help plant! The event is free. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Activities

• Grab refreshments and meet other volunteers.

• Learn how rain gardens support landscapes and pollinators.

• Plant, mulch, and water the rain garden.

• Visit often and watch it grow over time.

What To Bring

• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

• Gloves and a water bottle

• Hand trowels (we will have some available to share)
