In creating the “sound and movement experience” class I was inspired by methods that have been used for thousands of years amongst traditional healers. Much like meditation- this will be a practice in presence, being, and allowing. We will start with some light breathwork exercises which will help allow energies to flow naturally in and out of our body. Next, we will combine breath with gentle movement and body-postures to cultivate vital energy “qi/chi” within the body. These movements are inspired by Chinese Qigong, which promotes the circulation of energy throughout the
body.
